Artist Statement:
For the Rule of Thirds, I was in the middle of setting up Leading Lines by cutting the photos up. I had no idea that it would be so cool to use it as rule of thirds. Basically, I had no ideas for these. For leading lines, I used some LED lights to do two things. Add some color pop and second, to make the viewer's eye lead to the photo of photos. For golden ratio, I just used the LED lights. Past this point, I was out of ideas and started looking at stuff in my room. I saw my Michigan gymnastics stuff and my stuffed animals. So I used some LED lights, some of the trading cards I got from when I got autographs from the team and the team photo for diagonal rule. For symmetry, I came up with using the purple glow stick from their Flip for Chip meet. I used the purple 10.0 sign, the purple LED light and kept the team photo there. And then I went outside my room and set up the stuffed animals.
